From Perth there are two ways to get to Boddington:
1. Take Albany Highway to Armadale;
turn left at Armadale lights to stay on Albany Highway*;
turn right 2km past Bannister Roadhouse;
2. Take Freeway south - get off at the Armadale Road Exit;
follow Armadale Road to the lights at Armadale;
proceed through lights at Armadale - now you are on Albany Highway*;
turn right 2km past Bannister Roadhouse.
- Armadale to Jarrahdale turnoff: 27km
- Armadale to Boddington turnoff: 80km
- Boddington turnoff to Boddington: 14km
Albany Highway starts near the Causeway, on the east side of Perth City
and proceeds south to Armadale. When you get to the traffic lights at
Armadale, Albany Highway does a right angle turn to the left.
If you go straight ahead, through the lights, you will be on the South
West Highway - wrong way! go back to the lights!
If you come into Armadale from the Freeway, ie on Armadale Road, you will
come to this same set of traffic lights, with Albany Highway on your left
as well as dead ahead - so continue straight ... through the lights.
The Freeway instructions can be simplified, thus (only 2 turns):
Trun left off the Freeway at the Armadale Road exit;
Turn right off Albany Highway just after the Bannister Roadhouse.
